Description
Someone on Formspring asked very nicely for a Jabberwocky reference sheet, so here it is! Includes a full color side-view, the difference between closed and open mouthed Jabberwocky faces, a skeletal view of the retractable jaw, an image of a Jabberwocky's paw (four fingers, one opposable thumb), a size comparison (standing and walking), a top down view of the markings, and a baby Jabberwocky. These markings are specific to Charlie, especially the little skull/circle thing on his tail which is unique to him. If you want to create your own Jabberwocky character, feel free to experiment with the patterns (and send me a link, I'd love to see them!).Archipelago Jabberwockies are copywrite H.L.Devera, feel free to draw them/write about them/make little plushies of them if the inspiration strikes, so long as you don't make money off of them or claim them as your own invention.

They tend toward natural colors (the better to blend into the landscape my dear) but they do come in a variety of colors and patterns. Have fun.

That mouth reminds me of the little Teletubby creatures in Galaxy Quest. All cute and small when closed, then huge and fang-ly when open.

Oh wow! I can safely say that my household is a fan of your comic and I can't believe I'm just now stumbling across your dA, haha. On that note- Jabberwocky! I love Charlie so much. Glad to see this! If I doodle any up, I'll definitely ping you a link.
Also, regarding the comparison, can they actually move/lumber bipedally? Sort of like bears, I guess?

Yeah, though they can't go very fast. Charlie likes to hobble around on his hind legs and pretend to be a human sometimes.
