Description
Having slowly stalked her prey at the river, she patiently waits for her moment to strike.I've never drawn a Native American before, so I did. I wanted to try and be original with the design and concept, so hopefully it doesn't look too exaggerated. I know I went overboard with the rocks though; I'll be mindful of that for next time.

I would say that because the main characters are Native Americans from the Apache Nation who travel into the Lost Lands battling threats that will destroy our universe like the Campaigner, Primagen, and Oblivion, but also she reminds me of Danielle Fireseed from Turok 3: Shadows of Oblivion. She is the first female protagonist who uses the Turok title. The games are also known for their unique weapons like the Cerebral Bore; fighting different creatures like dinosaurs and aliens, and the games have a good soundtrack.

That sounds really cool! Thanks for the info! I had heard of Turok back when it was new, but didn't own the consoles it was on, so never had an opportunity to play it.

I like the way yuo draw rocks. They have an almost silky texture to them that you dont see much. I also enjoy the vibrant headdress!

Thank you. I've done several paintings with rocks since this one, and they're progressively better, but this was my first real attempt at them. It took a long time, but it takes less and less time with each picture now.

I love the details on the background and the waterfalls but there is very little sense of depth. Maybe adding some more fog and a little more shadows would help to add more depth in the scene.

Yes, thank you. Some of my newer picture do a better job of atmospheric perspective than this one. This was also one of my earlier 'rock jobs' as it were.
