Snake and Meryl, sometime between MGS1 and MGS2. Heh, aren't they so depressing?
Umm... this was supposed to be an art trade with ~FlameWolf82 . I did get carried away with it. Again.
This was another idea I had but I never did get around to it because I lost most of my motivation for SnakexMeryl. When she did ask me for SnakexMeryl art, I decided to treat it as a personal project then. :q
It's a cliched idea, yes. But I did enjoy combining drawing+photomanipulation. I'm not too sure if I'm contented with how it turned out because there's still a degree of fakeness to it.

I might change it into that depending on the feedback... I wasn't quite sure which I liked better.

There was some sort of speculation about Kojima's wife dissaproving MGS plot for there were to many homo setbacks during it like Raiden's butt, naked Raiden, Snake refusing to hump EVA yet doing some funny stuff with Raikov etc., etc., etc. and probably it was Koji's way to apologize - like restoring a classics or something but imho it a load of horsecrap...dunno sounds quite believable.

so whats gona happen after MGSR? are they just going to makeing MGS games alltogether? or are they gona go back and remake MGS1 for PS3...which i would'nt mind that much....i mean how many times have they remade metal gear solid games anyway? like if only square enix was like that then FF7 would have had a nice remake a LOOOONG time ago

Oh man I love the emotional context behind this. I love your SxM work, it's so heartfelt.
This one I think takes the cake though, just since the overwhelming bittersweetness shines through the cracked glass.

Yeah. They were my first OTP, and ever since MGS4, I could never look at it the same way again. And I guess listening to music helped poured out my frustration in this drawing. XD;
And thank you, I'm glad you love it. :3 It's good to know that there are still SxM shippers, no matter how little appreciation they get as a pair. I still do ship it, but only within MGS1. *sigh*

Never knew what happened to them since I didn't finish 2, couldn't play 4 & peacewalker. O_o I don't mind spoilers, though I'm too lazy to look around for myself. XD Apparently 4 did unjustice to the pairing?
Anyways, If I'm to say you should keep it this way because I think the styling of the manip. complements the art styling nicely. Certainly adds drama to the picture and no it doesn't look unfitting at all.

Wat. That guy? I recall the one from MGS 3 though, which eventually reminded me of the one in MGS. Apparently he appeared in 2 too and they're all related. O_o WTH Meryl? Is this some sort of comedy Konami's pulling or are they serious? Heh Meryl ate too much shrooms. XD
Yeah, and I've come to conclusion girls are more inclined to photo manipulation and learns it at a faster rate, based on the people I see around me. Me on the other hand, has very basic understanding on photo manipulation.. And has little patience for it. >_>;; This is why you've seen little to no manipulation pieces in my gallery. XP

Lol. xD Well, I was forced to learn how to photomanipulate. I had this prof last term who made us make a lot of ads. And not just simple advertisements, he wanted creative, award-winning quality ads, like the ones that win Cannes awards. It's something like an advertising Olympics, if you've never heard of it.
But seriously, the only thing here that I didn't draw is the texture at the back and the glass crack. Somehow it still looks like a manipulation.
