Very awesome job on this! This does remind me of the PC videogame Descent that I used to play a while back!

Nice .. LOL.. I tried building something like that years ago for Descent 3 and was told it was too much detail. 0_o
"you can't tri-chord down the hall without getting hung up on something". I told him to be a better pilot then and NOT SLIDE DOWN THE WALL.
I envisioned a hall with this kinda detail in the D3 level COD.

Yeah! That ones nice too, and likely the type of scene you'd expect to see in some newer sci-fi stuff - but the one I featured is more in tune to the project I'm helping with, and the reason I wanted to featured it for a reference!

Yeah! Simply put, we want to do a bit cleaner version - with less clutter, for the initial Xmas preview release. While the SP release will likely have tons of eye candy and dangerous traps for players to avoid & some iconic Descent type access puzzles to figure out!

A month ago I started a group project ([link] ) to make the Scifi story of my dreams. I've been able to recruit a few good alien creature artists, but I haven't seen that many interior architecture images in the groups I've looked through, and your's is one of the better ones I've seen.
By the way, would it be okay if I used this image as the thumbnail for a short story? I would of course credit you and provide a link to the original image in the description.

One thing that confuses me about this image is the fact that you worked out the spacing and scale very well for just working off one perspective angle image of a concept art. Did you have any other orthographic view drawings to help you?
