Hi! It's actually from Hindu and Buddhist imagery of Nagas, they are often portrayed with multiple cobra hoods framing their head and shoulders.

Oh. Somehow, it made me think that with all of the other snakes. But I am aware of some different cultures with multiple snakes as one sentient being, like Ananta, which is referenced in a Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card.
