Prompt: Odd Occurrences
You happen upon a tattered-looking wolf gazing at their reflection in a stream. There is a hauntingly vacant look in their eye. As you draw nearer, you can hear them mutter under their breath about ‘salvation’ in a ‘new age’ and they respond to nothing you say.

Venka lounged alongside a small creek - keeping ample distance while enjoying the shade. The rogue had since moved away from Namün - finding some peace as she ventured deep into unclaimed land, far from the known packs of the Way. She was tired from the interactions she had had so far and needed time to recuperate.

However, her isolation was soon interrupted by a scrawny wolf of short stature. They emerged from the foliage, not far from where Venka lay. However, they did not acknowledge her presence and instead aimed for the river's edge. They sat and stared, their eyes glossed as if in a trance. Soon they began to mumble -slurred and inaudible.

Venka did not rise from her place. Instead, she remained in the shadow of the trees, observing this odd behavior. Clearly, they were of no threat, but an ominous aura seemed to hover over their scrawny shoulders. Venka offered a loud grunt to see their reaction. But none came, and they continued muttering of 'salvation' in a 'new age.'

While it was dismissed as random bullshit, Venka could not help be appear curious. She allowed this scrawny wolf to remain in her presence as she finally stepped closer, wanting to hear their words better.

With a mischievous grin, Venka released an airy laugh. The wolf rambled, uncaring of the massive rogue that stood behind them. Something of the wolf's words seemed to settle into Venka's chest, nestling comfortably amongst her own desires. A new age sounded like exactly what these lands needed. A refresh.

I think this drawing is the first that i've actually be able to draw Venka's build like how I imagine LOL but side note this is venka's new pet for the day until it eventually dies from not moving away from their reflection or scurries away in fear LOL I imagine Venka attempts to get answers from them but they dont so she will have to resort to figuring out what they mean and how to get involved from someone else. >
