This is more of a cutesy detailed kinda look... lol, I dunno.

ANYWAYS, I saw how "big" of a hit my other chibi eye tutorial was and decided to try it again... only better, this time... I think.

Here's the other one in case you haven't seen in and you're wondering what I'm babbling on about.

Horrible, isn't it?

Well, like always, I'll type it down here just in case you can't read my horrid, extremely small handwriting...

Panel 1: We'll start off with the basics. Just four lines... that's all! It just depends on which eye you're drawing (in this case, the left eye, which to you it would be on the right). You can tell by the way the eye "falls" (or slopes)

Panel 2: Next, we'll sort of draw an outline for the pupil. I still believe if you want the chibi to be cuter, you'll want the pupil larger. You can see where the pupil and the iris is, and the two smaller circles are the glare. The curved line on the left is a small detail for shading later.

Panel 3: ((GRAPH)) Here's a more detailed image of the pupil. You can see that I've shaded this on the diagram (or example) on Step 2. I drew the eyelids further away so you could get a glimpse of the whole pupil.

Panel 4: ((GRAPH)) Now here's a detailed diagram of the eyelashes. I found that if you exaggerate the eyelashes, the eye looks cuter. As always, more (eyelashes) for a more feminine eye and less (eyelashes) for a more masculine eye. You want to be sure that both have at least a little, though.

Panel 5: Here's a final draft of the chibi eye! Noe if you just combine this with a little blush, a small nose and a chibi mouth, it will look adorable! You can see what I mean in the sample L drawing to your right. --->

Panel 6: In this extra box, I decided to put a closed chibi eye. This is just to show you the layering and intensity of the eyelashes you can achieve. And since I didn't address this before, I put a double line there for the eyelid fold. It just seems to make the eye bigger.
