Title: Stairway to Imagination
Character: [my] muse
Time: 7-8 hours+
Tools: Wacom Tablet, Photoshop CS3
Project: Contest *KyraShangea

My muse is an ever changing being. One day he might have a sword, the next a scythe. There is a simple explanation behind that, it copies everything I watch/read/play/listen/etc. etc. It adapts to my desires and becomes the embodiement of my wishes.

I use my muse for drawing. Every drawing I do, every scribble I write, they all are touched by my muse whether they want to be or not. Even though each character maybe different as time goes on, it's only because my muse changes as well.

With my muse, ideas flourish from my brain. I doubt there is ever one time in my day when I don't think up something new just because my muse told me about it.

Artist Comment: yay... finished lol so ya it's the deadline and I waited till the last second (I hope I still get in... since maybe the deadline was in the morning of the 22nd? oh well~)

Ya my muse is a guardian, he sits next to my imagination which has a stairway that represents my artistic ability. The reason it's a stairway is because I'm trying to reach a goal and with every new advancement I get closer and closer to that goal.

For those who forgot, here is what my muse is based on:

If you notice~ his right arm is part Eyeshield 21, D.gray-man (even though allen walker's arm is on the opposite side I decided for it to be on his right)

His sycthe is part Bleach and Soul Eater (an awesome manga that will probably become the next best anime! xD )

His coat was inspired by Devil May Cry. His left arm inspired by Reborn (it will be more obvious when colored). His pants by nana and surroundings along with boots.

His top hat was inspired by Proffesor Layton and the Curious Village mixed with more Soul Eater and D.gray-man (gosh I love them gothic manga/anime's so much xD )

His glasses were inspired from .hack//GU (ovan's glasses xD )

(added Belts and stuff are based on GU in general, plus Haseo.

Metal fingers based on automail from Fullmetal Alchemist.

In general, outfit based on punk, visual kei look and onie kei look.

of course since it's been almost 2 months this is not how my muse "looks" now in my imagination lol
