Description This is something I've been wanting to do for a while, and it took about 40 shots to get it right. I was using Crayola pencils, which bore the golden logo that kept shining on other pencils. In this picture, you can faintly see this in a couple of pencils towards the top - I attempted to edit it out in Photoshop, but couldn't get rid of it completely. But since this was the best of the bunch, I thought I'd share it with y'all...hope you enjoy it

Pencils! Even better, they are colored pencils. LOL. The things you use for art, can be just as beautiful as the art you use them to create. I love the way they come towards you at an angle. Also, how you made the white stand out even more by putting the darkest colors around the edges. Light draws the eye. Hope you don't mind if I fave it. I'm really attatched to it.

I really like the composition. I love how not only is the white pencil the only one sharpened and sticking out of line, but that the point is also chipped and the white pencil is between two yellow ones. It's really charming and lovely.

It reminds me of how I organize the t-shirts in my closet. My OCD makes me want to put the pencils all the right way, with the white pencil after the eventual gray one.

It's sad that people look at something this simple and beautiful and see something so twisted and ugly.

I think you did a good job of photoshopping the logos out. If you were going to attempt to improve on this, I'd suggest trying to get the whole thing in sharp focus and try to reduce the grain, but this is already really good.
