Did you change something else when you did the gaussian blur? It looks like the color is different, and when I do that, it doesnt even come close to having the same effect.

i just wanted to tell you that when i first saw this tutorial two years ago, i was so excited to learn more about retouching and editing for portraiture.

now, from this one tutorial, i've branched out a lot and i've discovered so much more about photoshop on my own... and now, whenever someone asks me questions on retouching, i just refer them all to this tutorial.
