I was doodling in pen (there's a bit of Twist in the corner there. Unfortunately, she's unfit for human consumption) when these two just sort of... happened.
Not precisely what I intended when I started, but for a pen drawing, this is good! I smartened up and planned ahead, so there isn't as much overlap as usual. Apparently, I can learn.
(Gasp)Anyway, I like it. Pose and posture are sound, and I managed to work in some subtle differences in their physique. In hindsight, Button probably shouldn't be as brawny considering his fanon lifestyle, but that hardly hurts the piece. It was an experiment, anyhow.

Although, it is in pen, which complicates things as far as traditional techniques go. BUT, if this month's budget works out, I should be able to afford the equipment to make all my work digital AND still go to Bronycon! If I can make that happen, I promise you there will be SO MUCH color!
