OKAY! Let's start this year off with a sketch of Yellow D.Yeah, I finished this like a week ago, I have no idea why I waited to post this.
Also unpopular opinion: Yellow Diamond is absolutely awesome.

W=W This is really really beautiful, but I hope you don't mind if I critique it a bit. Your line art is very clean however your shading is bit uncanny, for instance the blue outline is really nice but you can't see where its coming from and where there are areas where you have shaded it darkly there is still the glowing blue, making it look confusing where it is dark and where it is light. Your anatomy is also very good, however her feet seem to small for her body, and her face doesn't look anatomical correct. Her eyes also look like they are pitch black. Overall I say you need a little bit of work with anatomy but you should look into a lot more about color theory and how light reflects off certain places and when 2 different light sources meet. It also seems like you shaded in dark blue as well which i suggest in the future rather then shading with dark blue instead take the base color in this case yellow and move it slightly to the nearest warm color that being orange and slightly going a bit down to the black end of the spectrum on the color well. Just for overall reference when you want to shade dark head towards warm colors and for lighting head for the cooler colors You'll find your art looking a lot smoother and more eye appealing this way. One of your best things in this drawing is the planets and concept of the art itself and you seem to be very creative in this sense. I also looked at your other art and if you focus on learning the color wheel a bit more and lighting/shading you'll vastly improve!Β

Woah! Thanks for the critique!
This was my first time trying out two different light sources, so it's nice to get some feedback! Thanks so much for the tips! ^^
I did find the shading on this one a bit trickier, but this helps out a bunch! I'll keep it in mind next time I try to tackle a dual light-source XP
As far as anatomy, it's just kind of been hit-and-miss lately, but I guess I'll just have to keep practising.
Thanks a bunch!

Your welcome! btw for anatomy i suggest practicing with reference (not tracing though that doesn't help) and then doing it on your own it helped me alot when i was really struggling with itΒ Β
