Wow, this got something very cool and alien indeed! I love the black-blue coloring here. It makes him more mysterious. In my opinion, dark blue is always a good color for something diety-like because it reminds me of the night sky. It reminds me of the feeling of awe when I look at the stars above, of how small we are.
I also like how visible you made the muscles, and how the head shapes look like they're tough with a natural armor. The way the eyes are lines that vertically go across the face is also unique! I've never seen this before. The little light flair there is a nice touch, too. And I enjoy the texture of the ball he's standing on, it's very eerie.
Most of the time when I see Cerberus art, it's usually just a big, black rottweiler with three heads which is always aggressive and barking and whatnot. More like a poorly raised brat than the animal companion of an underworld deity. But with your design, you've created a new kind of guard dog for that world of the dead. A creature whose job it is to make sure that no living creature enters and that no dead creature leaves, and doing that ever since life itself started. Cerberus is ancient, rottweilers are not, lol.
And I like to think they just called Cerberus a dog because it had a resemblance, not because it was actually a dog. But that's just me. Or maybe Cerberus was really just a poodle and we'll never know.
Also, I prefer dogs that are calm and confident, yet glowing with strength. I cannot take dogs seriously which always bark at everything they see. I noticed that any skilled guard dog has this silent-strength aura with a piercing glance on their face, especially police dogs, and I think this aura would fit Cerberus perfectly too. You did a great job on creating this expression. Mere eye contact is enough for you to know that you don't mess with this guard dog here.
