Description
An adopt we got a while ago! Finally got around to making her a fullbody base ref. Also added in a hatchling version because of her backstory.

Anyways, onto info:

Name: Abyss

Gender: Female

Pronouns: She/her

Sexuality: Aroace

Occupation: Was a translator in the Summer Palace for Aquatic to Dragon for allies, but after the attack, she became a teacher at Jade Mountain for other dragons to learn some basic phrases of Aquatic for a better understanding of Seawings and to also teach Seawings Aquatic

Backstory: Named for her once dark blue-green scales, Abyss's name no longer makes much sense. Her scales lightened to a bright green, but she had already been named, and it was too late to change. Nobody really cared, though. Her now vibrant green scales make her easier to spot underwater than her darker blue ones she had as a hatchling. What caused this color change as she aged, however, still baffles even Nightwing scientists. Yeah, slight changes in color or pattern found in dragons were common and almost normal, but a massive change in color? That was near unheard of, especially considering it happened in only a week and a half! Some speculate that she is part Rainwing, but her parents both being purebred Seawings with no other tribes in there lineage is enough to dispel those rumors. Other than that, Abyss leads a normal life.

As she grew older, she started translating Aquatic to Dragon for some of her Sandwing friends who wanted to know what some other Seawings were saying when they flashed their scales. The Queen soon entrusted her to be an interpreter for when Blister and some of her army would come to the summer palace. Anytime a Seawing tried to talk behind the Sandwing "Queen"'s back by using Aquatic, she would immediately tell Blister or Coral what she saw. After the destruction of the summer palace and the end of the war, Abyss's translating help wasn't really needed among the Seawings anymore. However, when Jade Mountain Academy was created, she offered to teach Aquatic there to not only the Seawings, but also the other tribe students, to give them a slight insight to what Seawings were saying, and how the glowing scales worked.
