An IceWing adopt we got a while ago that we just got around to making a fullbody base ref for. Really like of the backstory we wrote to get them.

Name: Frigid

Gender: Nonbinary

Pronouns: They/them

Sexuality: Panromantic asexual

Occupation: Formerly a soldier in the army, but decided to leave and became a researcher on ancient Icewing artifacts

Backstory: During their days in the army, Frigid was highly respected. They were a general, and they almost never lost a single soldier in their battalion in the time of the war of Sandwing succession. However, after the end of the war, there was no longer much need for such a large army, at least in their eyes. While most of the soldiers stayed in the army, Frigid decided to leave, feeling like they had fulfilled their purpose in the army. When Queen Glacier died, they gave a speech about how the queen was one of the best they had served under, and that it was heartbreaking to see her go in such a fashion because of Darkstalker's curse.

A couple weeks after the queen's death, Frigid had went to visit the late queen's grave. However, during their walk back to their home, they found a strange object partially buried in the ground. Checking to make sure no one was around, Frigid quickly dug up the strange object. It looked like a piece of oddly shaped ice, but it was a little... too oddly shaped. It looked almost dragonmade. They quickly flew back home, wanting to figure out what this strange object was. However, it seemed to be broken, and with only a small piece, they weren't able to get very far on research.

Frigid returned to the spot they found the initial piece, and continued to dig around after gaining the queen's permission. They found other strange pieces of ice. While they were able to piece a bit more of the original piece together, they also noticed that there were multiple of this kind of ice object. And they almost looked like primitive spears. Going back to the dig site, Frigid continued searching. They finally found enough pieces to reconstruct the object, and just as they suspected, the objects were primitive spears. They continued digging, before they found something even stranger. Bones. And not just any old bones, no. They were the bones of dragons long past, even before the time of Darkstalker if Frigid had to guess, given the style of the spears being more simple than the ones used during Darkstalker's time.

They reported their findings to the queen, and were immediately appointed as the head of an archeological team. From Frigid's guess and to the agreement of many others on the team, these were the fossilized skeletons of dragons, likely most of them were Icewings, from pre Scorching. Since then, Frigid has made many discoveries both in and outside of the Ice Kingdom, finding fossils of dragons from ancient times.
