Imp silently cursed the grass. It wasn't fair that he, such a tiny esk, alone would have to answer Vetru's call, when his much larger friends back home would have no issues with the golden sea before him. His head could barely see over the shorter areas, let alone this untamed grass-forest he was stuck in. For the millionth time in his existence, he wished he was bigger. Or at least had his 'steed' Ilirium right now.

As he struggled to made his way to the meeting place, he spied a large Esk passing near. They already had a passenger with a tiny dodder Esk riding their back. Maybe he could hitch a lift too?

"H-Heey! Can I-" Imp spluttered.

"Not much further now little Esk!" said the passerby as they over took. The dodder squinted down at Imp.

'Yeah but-'

And the Esk were gone.

Imp sat there. And then screamed.

After what seemed like forever of struggling, Imp had no choice. He would have to employ The Jump. And so if anyone had been close to Imp, they would of seen a tiny Esk momentarily leap to the top of the grass... And crash back down in to it. Repeatedly.

Fortunately a Keeper managed to spy the tiny worn-out Esk and transport him near the circle of boulders. What they thought of Imp's method of moving through the grass was never mentioned, but Imp was sure that he looked like a fool already.

Imp found a nice spot on a small rock, just large enough for him to see over the grass. No sooner had he got comfortable, Vetru appeared.

He listened to Vetru's speech with keen ears, although he didn't know quite what to make of it. Restoring the land, well he was all for it, but what could he, a tiny little esk, do here to help? Vetru's speech was full of passion though, with their love for the land shone through. It made Imp think of would happen if fire broke out in his own home. All his Treasures... All his hidieholes... The Boots... The thought alone broke his heart.

No sooner had it begun, it was over, and Vetru began to wander through the gathered Esk. Imp watched them greet the many gathered, while others followed the Keepers to take in more of the land. Imp was just about to wander off when he saw Vetru look directly at him. He was hit with a sudden realisation that not only was Vetru huge, but he was also a Wanderer.

"Pleasedontcomeoverhere. Pleasedontcomeoverhere .Pleasedontcomeoverhe-"

"Hello?" Vetru was standing right above him...

Imp's mind went blank. He froze.
