This piece is part of a story that I've been working on (you can see the other pages of the story in my gallery if you'd like).
Although it's a bit different from your interpretation,
I think the sentiment of yearning for warmth, connection, and love is a common thread in human existence.
I think we all know what it feels like to be lonely and afraid, so it's important to make a conscious effort to be attentive to those around us~
I find it noble that you dedicate your art to the purpose of helping animals.
Sometimes, I find that art can become too fanciful, self-indulgent, and disconnected,
so it's warming to see people like you who have grounded their creativity in bettering reality.
