Rock Island Armories is very pleased, and admittedly somewhat surprised, that our light utility helicopter program is a resounding success! And so do we announce the debut of the Biting Midge family! The Biting Midge is centered around the CRG-50-1 cargo bay manufactured by Kerbal Standard, and features a roomy interior that allows open travel between the cockpit and the utility bay.

No additional weapon mounts have been installed on the mk.1 utility model, though their addition is planned. A mk.1(m) model exists as well, with the only difference visible from the outside being the addition of a ventral laser targeting pod.

Now, I'm not saying the Biting Midge mk.1(m) has secretly crammed its cargo bay to capacity with laser-guided munitions on a rotary missile rack, as that would be absurd, but I packed the cargo bay to capacity with laser guided munitions on a rotary missile rack. Don't worry, though; there's at least 4 or 5 inches of space on either side of the cargo bay to pass things through. Probably. I think. Hey, the pilot can get in and out through the window, right?
