I'm using this journal now (found the space one a bit too busy for my taste after all). Is it OK with you if I would change the colors/look of the skin, as long as I keep your original footer intact?

You should keep us mentioned in the footer and mention that you edited it as well.
However there are limits as to how much you should alter it.
If you're going to turn it into a myspace looking gore skin then we won't be associated with it.
Link me the journal after altering it so we can judge the modifications better.

The footer is automatically added when installing.
Its just a reminder not to remove it. The footer is where it credits us
