I must admit that Mad max movies are a major influence in my 3D work ...
As usual, set up in Daz Studio 4.5 and rendered in Octane 1.12 standalone.

Wow, dude, this is just... hyper-realistic! I just recently heard that there is an Octane plugin for Poser but it costs $100!

I don't know much about the plugin for poser (I'm a daz Studio user ...), but there is really no need to buy the plugin. I have bought the plugin for daz Studio, but after having tried it for a while, I'm back to my old pipeline : Daz Studio + Octane standalone (I feel I have a better control ...).

Really? I thought it would be easier to set up everything straight from DAZ/Poser and not having to export everything (and being unable to do pose adjustments after you export). Is there a better control for lighting or something else in the standalone version?

It's mostly a matter of personal taste, I like the interface of the standalone version and I don't really feel 'at home' with the daz plugin (once again, I can't speak about poser plugin ...).
Plus, in the last versions, the import process has been improved and is fasrter then before.
As my machine is not the most powerful, I find more convenient to pose the render in octane while I work in Daz, so it speeds up. I'm not sure I can do that in the plugin version.
Keep in mind that you can modify the geometry and do pose adjustements as much as you want, at any moment, you just have to modify the scene in daz and re-export it, Octane keeps all the work you have done on lights, materials, cameras ..., because it is stored in the .ocs file.
