An illustration for the Bulgarian folk tale "Span Tall Man- Elbow Long Beard" (Педя човек- лакът брада).
In the story there is a certain cave, in which live the fastest horses on earth- some with six and eight legs. The cave opens only on Saint George's day every year. The horses go out of it, but only to be eaten by the waiting wolves and bears.
