Description Ivan(Yoan) Shishman is a XIV century Bulgarian emperor and a South Slavic folklore hero.

He ruled the Bulgarian empire from 1371 till 1395 and his rule is marked by constant war with the Ottoman invaders until his death right after the battle of Rovine when Bayazid I ordered his beheading. His strugle and love from the Balkan people earned him the place as the most loved figure in the Bulgarian folklore alongside Krali Marko (Marko Mrnyachevik)

Dressed in typical Italian armor fashion with surecoat with the lion from his coins which was later redrawn for Mauro Orbini's  book "The Realm of the Slavs" and later ended as the modern Bulgarian coat of arms.

Yeah, I've heard that.

Well, kind of. The one from which the family is known to derive (Shishman, the despot of Vidin, 13th century) was a Cuman most probably, descendant from the many Cumans that fled Hungary to Bulgaria after early 13th century.

Ех браво, доста добре си се справил. Може даже да се пробваш да го направиш в малко по царски одеждки и да го сложим за мод на Civ V (честно и един от наште царе не е добре нарисуван там)

А това под туниката плейт ли е?

Also stupid Tatars Marko was Serbian/Macedonian/Greek/Croatian/Slovenian/Magyar

I enjoyed this conversation, though I didn't understand a thing. Splendid work and great work on the coat of arms.

Oh were just making jokes how Bulgarians can't poke their heads on the Medival historical scene without someone pretending or saying or heritage is theirs or causing a big ruckuss over nothing.

Dude if you take requests you gotta draw something Bulgarian related, it would be so cool. I dunno like a time when our people worked together for a change instead of just fighting. Tervel's charge on the Arabs at Constantinople? Or maybe Kaloyan kicking the Latin Empire's ass at Adrianople

Ah! Well the only people I know that try to claim your Tsars as their own are the Fyromites (What? You expected a Greek to call them Macedonians? ) I've actually decided to do some art trades with some people but I barely have time to do anything right now... I've always wanted to draw something Bulgarian related though... Tsar Samuel and Gavril Radomir at the gates of Sofia, or Ivajlo the Cabbage... Maybe one day, but unfortunately not in the near future

Yeah some of them are really bad sadly. Like that "reporter" who broke a memorial plaque near a WW1 battlefield, that we fought against the Serbs in.

Oh I hope you are able to when you have time, your art is truly enjoyable

Благодаря много

E, на царе с церемониални дрехи има доста красиви картини. Аз се съсредоточавам върху въоръжението, щото там са големите обърквания.

Може и да е плейт, може и коразина.

Какво имаш предвид относно Марко?
