Description
For the A Song of Ice and Fire/Game of Thrones fans- the battle on the Trident where the stag(Robert Baratheon) vanquished the dragon(Rhaegar Targaryen).I know that this has been painted a thousand of times but this scene and angle just sprung into my mind and I thought I could bring something new to the image of this battle.

I love how fan artists and show creators couldn't really get a feel on what Robert's helmet would look like. Some give him an open Barbute-like thing, others a very shitty looking Great Helm and the list goes on. This looks pretty darn nifty. Love the colors and the dynamics each one of them gives out. And the armors look pretty darn nice too, no ringmail

I put a lot of work in this and I think it is a not-a-bad piece and I am actually surprised it doesn't get more attention, but anyways I am happy how it came out.

I didn't even see that. Guess my copy of Season 1 was just darker. Oh well...off to find the breast plate strecher!
