      It started off as a normal session in the Animus 2.0 for Desmond. The group had already secured their new hideout. It was small,but just the right size for its purpose. Desmond sat on the Animus 2.0. It was pouring outside and thunder could be heard roaring throughout the entire countryside.

      "You sure it is entirely safe to have Desmond in the Animus right now?" Lucy whispered to Rebecca as the man fell asleep.

     "He'll be fine. Sure, it IS a lightning storm,but nothing to serious."

     "Okay, if you say so...."

     So far, so good. Desmond had taken note that even though Ezio was older, he was still amazingly strong. Would he be like that in the future? Most of his time in this session was spent collecting information. A pretty simply task. Then something happened. The rain was falling extremely hard onto the small cabin they stayed in. The lightening seemed to be hitting closer and closer. And the thunder was so loud...then bang. A flash. The power was out. Lucy heard Desmond scream along with outher unknown voices and tried to blindly grab in the darkness. She did grab someone,but it definitely wasn't Desmond. So who could it be?

     The next morning, the assassin-in-training woke in his bed. He looked at his arm without a tattoo and realized it was bandaged. Why? What the hell happened? He stood up and nearly fell over.

     "Agh...shit..." He was in so much pain. Like someone had stabbed him with tiny needles throughout his body. He limped his way into the familiar living room. Lucy and Rebecca sat at opposite ends of the completely fried Animus. "What the hell happened?" Rebecca turned to face him.

     "We are basically screwed. You kinda got zapped a little, but you seem okay. However, Baby is totally destroyed. " Rebecca said with a slight irritation to her voice and turned away from him. She refocused her attention to her broken machine.

      "So what are we going to do?" Desmond said leaning against the wall. His body felt completely off. He couldn't even stand straight.

      "We might have to use some type of back up Animus. We need to get in contact with other allies, though. But never mind that...we have a bigger problem." Lucy fixed her eyes on Desmond.

      "What could be worse then it breaking?"

       "I can't really explain it,but I can show you...."
