   "Stop getting in the way!"

   "I'm sorry, sir. I really am."

   That was just about how any conversation Alex had with his father would go when he was Josh's age.  However, their father would encourage Josh in anything he did and treated him with respect and kindness. Alex was never give such a luxury, at least, he considered that kind of treatment luxury. It made the young man jealous sometimes. Even so, Alex couldn't stay mad at his brother. Josh wasn't like everyone else. He was so sweet....in more than one way.

   Alex loved Josh completely and utterly. He would die for Josh. He would kill for Josh. He was everything to him. He was the reason Alex woke every morning, the reason he lived. Josh was Alex's lifeline. If he were to leave him, Alex wouldn't know what to do with himself. Lucky for him, Josh would always be there for him. Always a nice gesture and always loving words escaped the young boy's lips.

   Sometimes it scared Alex. Just how engrossed and in love he was with his brother. He knew it was wrong,but his love wasn't brotherly. It was beyond that. It was beyond any way he could express it with words. It was so forbidden and yet...Alex imagined it. Every night...holding the soft and small frame. Caressing his pale skin and tousling that dark, brown hair. How could one resist? Maybe his parents knew. But it wasn't like Alex was in love with every kid he saw...the only person he loved was Josh and he would be willing to wait a lifetime for him,but that wouldn't matter. They were brothers. It would always be wrong.

   "Alex..." a sweet voice uttered softly from the bunk below.

   "Y-yeah?" He was snapped out of his deep and wondrous thoughts.

   "I can't sleep."

    Alex jumped down from his upper bunk and sat next to the astonishing pale form. "I'm sorry..."

   "Can you sleep with me?"

   Alex's heart nearly popped out of his chest. Oh...his brother needed him and he was more then happy to comply. He laid down next to Josh, facing him.

   "Alex...I love you so much."

   Josh's pale skin was shadowed by pink flush and soon Alex's face turned red. He couldn't help himself, just one, soft, luscious kiss. Their lips brushed. Oh, how sweet those thin, pink lips that spoke such loving words.

   "I love you to Josh."
