           "You remember Robbie, don't you, Alex?" A fourteen year old Josh asked as he dangled the battered doll in front of his brother. "Alex?" Josh whimpered,but there was no reply from his institutionalized brother.

            He hadn't really responded to outside stimulation since the accident. He only made a slight noise when Josh had given him their father's old dog tags,but it was just a slight whimper. Sure, he would talk,but just nonsense about his family being dead and Silent Hill along with other nonsense Josh didn't quite understand.

           "When I'm alone," Josh spoke soft and slowly."I still hold him sometimes. Especially when I have nightmares. I know it maybe kiddish,but-" Josh was cut off by a nurse who said his visit had to end soon.

           "I-I've got to go," Josh said before getting up and sluggishly exiting the familiar white room. He had visited his brother at least once a week for years. There was a time, shortly after the accident, that Josh was in a complete state of depression and sadness. He couldn't leave the house and hated and feared everything,but he recovered with help from doctors and therapists. His brother, however, wasn't as lucky. He was nearly catatonic.

             Josh nervously ran his hands through his shoulder length hair as he read a bike magazine. He was seeing if he could save up his allowance to buy a bike for himself. That way, he didn't have to beg his parents to drive him to see his brother, he could simply ride his bike to the hospital. He saw one he thought he would be able to afford in a month or two and ripped the page out. Quickly jumping off the bunk bed he used to share with his brother, he went to stuff the magazine in a locker on the floor. He opened the chest-like structure and something caught his eye. It was the flashlight that his brother gave to him for when he had nightmares. He clicked it on and realized it still worked.

            "I should take this to Alex," he smiled to himself and stuffed it into his hoodie pocket.

             "Josh! Come downstairs! Joey is here for you," his mother called from the living room.

              "Coming!" Josh yelled as he made his way downstairs.
