Description
   It was amazing weather. The sun was shining, there was a nice breeze, and it wasn't humid at all.

   The two Shepherd brothers laid in the small canoe. Alex's legs were hanging off of the sides, his shoes nearly touching the water. Alex had felt like somewhat of a giant since he came back. He thought maybe it was in his head,but he had actually grown another 6 inches since his stay in the hospital. Odd,but not impossible. Josh laid across his brother's stomach, his entire body inside the canoe. They both faced up towards the beautiful sight. The water was so pure and still, it was almost like looking into a mirror. It was so different from that night.

  "Wow...." Alex exclaimed softly.

  "What?"

  "I never thought I'd ever be able to come back here,but here we are," Alex smiled sincerely. His stomach would make a back flip ever so often. He was nervous about being here and nervous about talking to his father tomorrow, and yet he felt at ease. He felt everything could and would be resolved.

  "I missed you so much, Alex." Josh wrapped his arms around his brother's waist. "I was afraid you would never come to..." Josh's voice quivered.

"Don't worry, I'm here....I promise I won't leave."

  "But...I feel gone." Josh stood up. The boat shook. "Alex...what....what if I just fell in....ad never came back up?"

  Alex sat up. "What are you talking about....."

  Josh started moving in a way that made the canoe rock back and forth. "We could go...together, Alex. No one can stop us." Josh stared into Alex's eyes. Something was wrong. Alex had to fix his brother before it was to late.

  Being kind or gentle wouldn't work with Josh at this moment. Alex grabbed him down by his legs, making him fall on his knees, hard. "STOP IT JOSH, JUST STOP!" Alex gripped him tightly. "You aren't leaving me, not now, not ever...."

    So many things happening. Everything is just far to overwhelming for the two brothers.
