Description
It was a rough night for Josh and Alex. Neither could sleep and both were dreading their father's return. Even so, they had to tell him. Alex wouldn't allow himself to sleep.Although he loved his brother, he didn't completely trust him. He didn't want him hurting himself again. The night seemed to take forever to pass by. Josh knew Alex wasn't asleep, and Alex knew Josh wasn't asleep. So why not talk a little?
"Have you ever had sex?" Josh said, breaking the silence. The question surprised Alex and made him realize just how old Josh was.
"No..." he answered honestly.
"I'm afraid to." Josh admitted.
"Well, don't do anything unless you're comfortable with it." Alex replied. He never thought he would be comfortable about this subject, but for some reason it didn't bother him anymore. He just accepted it as another part of life, something that humans did.
"Yeah....I just feel like I shouldn't ever...DO anything," He said softly, the embarrassment could be heard in his voice. "I feel....dirty."
"You aren't, Josh. It was HIS fault. He is the dirty one,not you." Alex said bluntly without any doubt in his voice. God, is he ever saw their uncle again, he would have to cause him so much pain. Alex wrapped his hands around his own waist. He really didn't have any experience with romantic relationships. At the most, he kissed her on the cheek after some boys made fun of her when they were only ten. People always joked because she was rather heavy, but Alex found her adorable. He didn't want to admit it,but he was disappointed she was getting married, but decided he would just smile through the wedding. What was her job, now, anyways? She loved working with computers. Maybe it had something to do with that. Wow....his mind was trailing off, jumping from subject to subject.
"Alex...."
"Yeah?"
"Thank you for always being there, even when you weren't."
Alex wasn't exactly sure what Josh mean, but smiled and said "No problem." Then Josh's light snoring signaled the younger has fallen asleep. Soon, Alex followed.
