    Alex had recovered from his episode he had that morning and was now hanging out with Josh in their room. He had been having slight flashes of those horrifying images involving other people before,but none were so violent and realistic since he had gotten out of the hospital. And they were never about Elle. He shifted in the upper bunk as he heard Josh click around on his laptop. Soon, he drifted in a light sleep.

   His dreams weren't the usual nightmarish ones,but instead were full of bright lights and unknown noises that seemed to resemble muffled music. Voices, not screams,but chatter could be heard. He realized..he was in a night club? A gentle hand touched his shoulder,but before he could see who it was he awoke. Alex wasn't sure what woke him,but when he uttered a loud grunt, Josh slammed his laptop shut.

  "Uh,Josh?"

  "What is it, Alex?" his brother whispered in a quivering voice.

   "What were you looking at?"

    "N-nothing..."

    "Y-Yeah, sure..." Alex snorted. "I-I'll leave you alone, then." He jumped off of the top bunk and made his way to the door. He quietly closed it behind himself.

    Alex had a bad feeling in his stomach. He really wanted to see Elle,but Josh was 'busy' at the moment and he didn't want to bother his mother to bring him to his friend's house like he was a child. However, he had to visit her.

   "M-mom," he spoke quietly as he watched his mother sewing together a pale blue summer dress.

   "Yes, Alex?" she looked up at him.

   "I-I need to see Elle." he choked out. He noticed his voice sounded funny,but ignored it. Maybe he was just imagining things.

   "Hm, I'm busy,but..." a light bit of worry pasted the older woman's face,but left quickly. "Last time I checked you're a big boy, you can see her on your own. Don't worry, I won't tell your doctors."

   "T-thanks Mom." Alex smiled and headed for the front door.
