    "He had a seizure, Mrs. Shepherd." The doctor said bluntly, so blunt it felt like she was punched in the gut by his words.

    "Oh, God..." she whimpered and covered her mouth.

    "Why?" Josh said calmly. He was more upset then anyone could see,but he had learned to control himself, most of the time.

    The doctor fiddled with some papers and charts, most likely Alex's health history. "It says here that he received electroshock therapy for three months two years ago and-"

    "WHAT?" Lillian nearly screamed. It made Josh jump. His mother never yelled. "He was give no such treatment! My husband and I agreed that..."

    "I'm sorry Mrs. Shepherd,but that's what the records say. And it is the only thing that would make sense. It was most likely a mixture of his previous exposure to the therapy and some type of external stimuli that caused this. He seems alright, though. We want to keep him overnight,but you'll be able to pick him up in the morning. It'd be best for you to go home," the doctor quickly turned away without another word.

    "M-mom?" Josh said fearfully. His mother was shaking with rage. "What's wrong?"

     "Let's go home, I need to talk to your father in the morning," she said sternly.
