Description
   Alex's dreams haunted him all night. He dreamed of demented monsters that twitched and convulsed as the lunged towards him. The walls in every building seemed to be breathing and bleeding. Scenes of torture surrounded him; people being hung, shot, ripped in two, and even being raped. He couldn't help them, no matter how hard he tried. He could barely even run. He had no weapons and he felt like he was at the end of his rope. Finally, he reached a seemingly safe room. Slowly trotting in, he felt more relaxed. That was, until, familiar hands grabbed him from beyond.....Uncle Richard.

  "Alex.....I've missed you," he chirped before Alex was torn out of this horrendous nightmare.

    "Hey, Alex, you okay?" His dark-haired brother asked, sounding concerned. "You sound like you were having a nightmare..."

   "I'm fine, Josh...I" Alex paused, and quickly embraced his brother who hovered over his hospital bed. He was slightly sobbing.

    "Alex, it's okay...." his brother quickly returned the embrace.

     "Alex, it's time to go," their mother said calmly, entering the room.

     Alex was beyond relieved to leave that wretched hospital,but more problems awaited at home.
