   "You got a problem with me? Say IT!" Jack barked at the former Alliance soldier in the bowels of the deck below engineering.

   "Look it, I'm not thrilled about having to share a living space with you either. But we have to while the hangar is being upgraded...which could take weeks, maybe even months. You screaming isn't helping my headaches, y'know." Kaidan rubbed at his temples as he looked down on the floor. He was slouching over on the ground. A particularly painful throb to his head which nearly made him throw up surged through his head. He tried to suppress a gag, but it was still audibly noticeable.

  "Gross...why the hell did you do that?" Jack said in an oddly quiet and concerned tone. She didn't admit it, but he intrigued her. She didn't know why.

  "The headaches...due to the implants. Since I'm considered a renegade from the Alliance, they won't pay for the pain medication. Cerberus can only offer me so much, but for it to go away I need the meds." He gave her a tired look.

  "Shit...wait...implants? You're telling me you're an L2? I thought all you guys died off or went psycho."

  "Well I didn't." Kaidan glared at her, not appreciating the insensitivity she expressed on the matter.

  "Hmmp. Find, I guess we can share quarters. Just make sure to stay out of my fucking business...and don't try any funny shit. I have no problem ripping your dick off." She said before rolling over and presumably sleeping.

  'What is with this kid?' Kaidan thought to himself before the intercom crackled on, calling all squad members in for a meeting.
