Description
It wears many facesIt rears its head when our time has come
We all fear it
But I ask the question
Why fear death?
It is the one thing everyone has in common
It shows no sympathy
Yet shows no discrimination
It treats us all the same
Regardless of race, sexuality, age
Dying is just as much a part of life
As living life to its fullest
We must all go to Death's door
No matter how much we wish to escape it
Embrace the gift of death
As you have the gift of life
But do not rush your time
Or wish to turn your clock forward
Enjoy what time you have while living
Before you must enter your realm of the dead
However, the afterlife is a different life
All on its own
Of course who's to tell
What heaven
Or hell
Awaits us then
