   He ran as fast as his legs could take him. He was nearly ready to give up,but he couldn't. Not yet. He had to find Joshua. He had to. He was the one person that cared. The one person that he had to protect. He loved his brother and would do anything for him. Even so, he was at the end of his rope. No more bullets, his knife snapped in half, the rusty steel pipe broken,and the axe's head fell off. He was...screwed.

  He was safe, at least for now, in a small hotel room. It was dirty and smelled terrible,but he could endure it to be safe. Soon, his eyes became heavy....slowly falling asleep.

Oddly enough, he wasn't interrupted. When he left the hotel room, fear engulfed him. His walkie talkie went insane and his flashlight flickered on and off.

  A giant figure appeared before him. The scrapping of metal signaled it was time to run,but it was almost to close when he saw the massive Pyramid shape near him. So close...nearly in his face.

  "Oh fuck..." Alex whispered when the form loomed over him. "What...are you going to do to me?"

  The demented and deformed creature leaned closer. If it had a mouth, Alex would feel its breathe over his face.

  "Alex???" the creature said in a familiar voice....Josh? No...that doesn't make sense,but it sounded just like him. Nurses began to encircle Alex and the massive monster. With one swing of its sword, the monster beheaded the nurses. Even more deformed creatures began to appear, all hunting Alex,but all being killed by the massive monster.

  Alex couldn't believe what was happening and...damn, he was getting sleepy,but how? With all of this violence and commotion, he should be wide awake. The behemoth picked Alex up and through him over his shoulder. Slowly creeping through the halls of the hotel and destroying any monster that dares to harm Alex.

Finally, the monster dropped Alex from his shoulders to the asphalt ground outside the massive and condemned building. It turned around and began moving,but Alex had to thank 'it' or 'him'.

  "Thank you," Alex was finally able to choke out to this beast. "Who are you?" Alex stood up and realized just how tall this creature was. It simply pointed at Alex's flashlight, before walking away and disappearing in the fog.

  Who would have thought that something so monstrous would help him? Or was this thing really a monster at all?
