      Her new neighbor was rather strange. He had pale skin, grey eyes, and shoulder length blond hair. She would only see him at night and she always had an eerie feel about him. Like he was hiding something. Sometimes, she would see people go in and never come out. 'No,' she convinced herself ',that would be insane...' She had seen him move in with a few other people, but those people only came out at night as well.

      Even though there were so many warning signs that something might be up, she was still drawn to him. She didn't know his name, were he had come from, his family or even his age. Even so, she NEEDED him. She had never felt like this before. Normally, she would find this attitude to be stupid, childish and illogical. It was as though she had a spell casted on her. She was infatuated with him. If only she had be stronger.

     She decided that it was time she would confront him, meet him and make him fall for her. People had always said how polite and cute she was. Her long brown hair  thin frame, and deep blue eyes, 'who could resist me?' She giggled as she applied lip gloss and pink eyeshadow. 'It makes your eyes pop!'  her mom would say. She slipped on a short pink skirt, white button down and pink strap heels. The she put on the heart pendant her father had gotten her her last birthday when she turned seventeen. She always loved how it glittered..GLITTER! She put some on her neck, face, and arms. 'HOW CUTE!' She imagined her mysterious neighbor saying as she stared in the mirror. Then she applied some sweet smelling cotton candy perfume. All done. Now, time to win her prize.

      Creeping out of the front door was easy, she did it all the time when her parents had refused her permission to a friend's party. He lived right to the left of her house, so it wasn't to hard.

      "Now, how to get in?" She whispered to herself. It seemed dumb to try,but she pushed on the front door. It opened. Wow. What luck. Or misfortune. She trailed through the front hall of the large, mansion-like house. There were only candles lit ,but a lot of them. It created a slightly disturbing dim light. She ventured further, until she came to a massive room that had steps leading into a shallow circular impression that looked almost like a jacuzzi, but it had no water and was pitch black. Candles encircled the room. "Huh, weird..." She said before turning around. She was set on ascending a staircase she had seen on the way to this bizarre room, but turned around to see HIM. "Y-you...I..I.." for being so confident that she would take control of him, she was dumbfounded and at a loss for words. "S-sorry...I..."

       "It's okay, Lisa..." He said in a cool and deep voice. More seductive then she imagined. He reached out his hand. His nails were long and clean. He had a black robe on,but no the kind you would wear to bed. More like something a priest would wear during a special ceremony.

        "H-how do you know my name?" She backed away. Red flags seemed to going off all around her,but she still stayed. Stupid girl.

        "I've been eyeing you. You ARE a beauty...I am Alexander..." He offered his hand again and she took it. "You are more amazing up close...I have a gift for you...as an icebreaker."

        "Oh, where?" She said excitedly. He kissed her cheek gently and pointed behind her, past the circular hole, to a small pedestal that looked like it had some piece of jewelry on it. She was someone who valued possessions over feelings. She began to tip toe towards it. "OMIGOSH...yay!" She had lost any and all sense. She was willing to accept a gift from a stranger and was in HIS HOME. And he had admitted to STALKING her. Even though, it was truly the other way around. She watched him constantly. She should've been watching him more closely, then she would know his secret. Before she could maneuver around the hole, he gripped her from behind. He was so strong. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!!!" She screeched as he tightened his grip. She couldn't see the horrifying sight,but his face morphed as his fangs protruded from his mouth and his eyes became a glowing red.

     "Shhhh...it'll all be over soon..." He whispered in her ear. Then it happened. He bit her neck, taking a hunk of flesh out as he removed his fangs.  She was gushing blood and twitching. Gasping for breath, she tried to speak,but no words formed. "Rather bland tasting, actually..." He said with a bored tone. He dropped her into the shallow hole and the last thing she saw was his demented expression. She twitched and convulsed, then nothing. "You can feast, if you must..." he announced to the others of the household.

      "Imbecilic girl," He whispered to himself. "...really shouldn't mess with Vampires, but weak and love struck adolescent girls who are full of themselves are the easiest targets...."
