    The young man was losing hope. He loved Alex dearly,but he was his brother and that is all Alex saw him as. All he would see him as. It made Josh upset,but he craved any contact with the older man.

   Alex had moved out sometime ago, and Josh was practically done with high school. Soon, he would go to college. He would see his secret forbidden love, less and less. It made him want to cry. He wished for the days were Alex would tease him about being short or annoying. At least then, they were together,but now they were being pulled up. Did growing up need to mean growing apart?

   Oh no. Tomorrow, Josh would be moving into the dorms. No, no, no. Why did he have to leave? He might only be able to see Alex once or twice a week. It just wasn't fair. He didn't want to leave

   Josh always admired Alex, even when they were younger and would get on each other's nerves. He was always so strong, handsome, fit, kind, warm, and gentle all wrapped into one amazing person. How come everyone always treated him badly? It just wasn't right.

  It was late, maybe a little past 11:00 o'clock. Josh paced in his and Alex's old room. The younger man asked if his brother would spend the night in their old room with him. Now, Alex was in the shower. Thoughts rushed through Josh's head as he paced. He had to tell Alex, it was now or never.

   The older man opened the door. Oh, he looked so beautiful with the moonlight seeping from the window reflected off of his bare chest. "Hey, Josh....you okay?"  Alex saw an almost depressed look on Josh's pale face,but soon it turned to pure desire and love. The younger boy didn't answer,but simply came closer to the older brother. Wow, even now, Josh wasn't the same height as Alex. He never would get tall enough.

   Josh pushed the door closed as Alex sat down on the bottom bunk. "Is there something you need to tell me?" Alex said in his amazing voice. His voice was practically godlike...hell, all of him was practically godlike.

    "Yes...." Josh ran over to Alex and pushed him onto the bed. "I love you...more then I should,but I can't help myself....." Josh leaned over the man he pinned and kissed him softly. His heartbeat sped up to astronomical measures. This must be what it feels like to truly be in love with someone. For a moment, Alex avoided the loving gaze of the man pinning him,but then his beautiful gems locked back onto Josh's wide eyes. He leaned up, and kissed the young man's lips.

   "I don't think I can help myself, either."
