Description
Here's my entry to %semi-sweeties 'sAs the title may have suggested
I love musicals and the 50's are my favourite decade, so it makes sense that Grease is one of my all-time favourite movies!
I tried to reproduce the scene in which all the Greasers and Pink Ladies meet up at the local diner, the Frosty Palace. Click here for a screen cap!
Edit: whaaaaaaaaaaaaat?
I'm so gleeful right now that it's kind of awkward
Everything shown was handmade in a 1:6 scale; more specifically..

This world really does need to understand the health issues we face when it comes to things like these... snowmen are one of the underestimated killers of our generation!
Jokes aside, very nicely done; when I noticed just how small the scale was and the detail put into it, it made my jaw drop. Excellent job!

Mphff not sure what the snowman has to do with the rest, but I agree that these are some of the world's most un-healty things ever - although in my defense, as I wrote on my blog the cigarettes are really made of chocolate and the french fries were fried in varnish and not oil, so..

troppo perfetto! ma quello che adoro di più sono il menù e le sigarette, così piccole e dettagliate! Buona fortuna per il contest, meriti proprio di vincere ^^

Ahaha this is actually the scene right before that! (I've watched this movie so many times that I could pretty much re-enact it at any given moment)

Thank you although I wouldn't get my hopes too high - I've seen a couple entries that were simply perfect and it would be crazy if they didn't win

Of course it is one of your favourites... Grease is to movies what chocolate is to food. It's virtually impossible not to love it. (It's a fact.)
Thank you and best luck to you too! I love your entry

Excellent! I bet you'll win! It looks perfect and the paperclips as straws is genious!
Just a question - can I use silicone that is used for diy stuff, or is there a special type of it I have to use?
And does silicone dry in the air, or do you bake it?

Paper clips are amazing for miniatures! They can be used for so many things other than holding paper together
I've used regular diy silicone - I'm not sure if there's a type of silicone specifically made for craft/miniature making out there , I just used what I already had handy and it worked just fine
It air-dries in a few hours, there's no need to bake it
And thank you
