Description
Spring menu - Asparagus rice and cream soup.I love myself some vegetables, what can I say?
Those thingies on the cream soup were supposedly croutons, but I'm afraid they turned up to look like meat
The plate with above the rice is bought, everything else is handmade in a 1:6 scale

Edit: @ *LadyxWinter & ^maytel - thank you! What a wonderful surprise

Why can't you make this out of edible ingredients?

honestly the thing I'm most impressed with is the dishes. I see a lot of amazing food but no one ever takes the time to make a decent dish to put it on.

Thank you
One of the plates in this particular set was bought however (for honesty's sake!

Well, I think the croutons look like grilled chicken verses "just meat"... and even though this isn't what you intended, I think it still worked out perfectly because it looks very nummy and I bet grilled chicken would be great in cream of asparagus soup!
Call it a happy accident!
Oooh, and maybe for the next one (if you were to remake it or make something similar) instead of croutons, you could do little slices of baguette cut on a diagonal. Like three little slices arranged in a fan. That would be very pretty.

I wouldn't call it a "happy accident", I'd more likely call it a "well now, isn't that a brilliant idea for a new recipe, I definitely have to buy chicken and asparagus first thing tomorrow"
Thank you

Thank you!
I sculpted the rice one grain at a time.. you just make a tiiiiny ball of white (or white+translucent) clay, and give it an oval-ish shape by pressing/rolling the sides It takes a while..
