UPDATE: 03-07-2023 - Fixed background themes, changing the background is now sticky.
When it comes to computers I don't do note taking or make reminders, so ironically I made this note taking skin.
I'm calling it "Captains Log", and if I do say so myself -its- pretty awesome.
Captains Log allows you to keep track of any notes or reminders you might want to jot down.
The note area can be scrolled using the mouse wheel, you can jot down a quick note (Quickie Note
The subject matter of the Captains Log is editable. Name your note session any subject matter name you want.
Captains Log provides the current weather temperature, sunrise & sunset times, todays date and the current time.
There's a one link RSS feed for todays news headline (the RSS feed can be changed in settings).
And there's the ability to launch folders from the Captains Log main interface.
The settings for Captains Log are provided. To access the settings, open Captains Log by clicking on the Captains Log desktop folder and then at the bottom right corner of the Captains Log, click on the gear icon.
The Subject Matter and the Quickie Note features are temporary. (In other words, they aren't stored for saving.)
However, Logs/Notes are savable and can be located in the Logs folder, (!Rainmeter\Skins\Captains Log\resources \Logs).
Captains Log can handle three logs at a time.
However, all logs must have the name, CapLog1.txt, CapLog2.txt, and CapLog3.txt
Currently all the logs are stored at #@#Logs \ you can change the log path -but,
the log names must be as stated, CapLog1.txt, etc, ...
Captains Log screen size is fixed to 1920x1020.
(SEE UPDATE 03-07-2023): I have 4 different color backgrounds (Green, Blue, Yellow, and Red) that can be applied with a right mouse click.
However, the background color of choice doesn't stay when closing Captains Log, (maybe I'll a fix for that in an up & coming version update).
(I refer nearly all the .ini files to .inc files. Most of the time the .inc files are located in a folder name: "Ink." So if you're looking for the .inc's -in this case- go to, !Rainmeter\Skins\Captains Log\resources \Ink. There you will find them.)
