Wendigos are from Native American folklore and are a manifestation of several taboos; namely cannibalism and gluttony. There is actually a medical term that gets its name from the Wendigo. it's called Wendigo psychosis. The intense craving for human flesh.I'm trying to do more digital paintings but it's kind of slow going. I don't really know what I'm doing here so feedback is appreciated

I was afraid the wendigos might get a bit lost in the picture so the strong lighting on the head was for exactly that reason

Unfortunately the only tip I can give is be patient and experiment. Pretty obvious tips that i'm sure you already are well aware of, but tried and true none the less.
