The Phaya Naga can be found in the Mekong River of Southeast Asia. They are said to be semi-divine and are responsible for all unnatural occurrences within the riversuggested by:

I think my favorite part is seeing the way you drew the scales! I was once told to draw them and imagine a fish net, and this reminds me of that direction~ What you do with color is so professional! You could put this on an ancient map..."Here, there be monsters"
