Description
"Once we went in a ship and saw a fish which put his head out of the water. He had horns upon which was written: 'I am one of the meanest creatures that inhabit the sea. I am three hundred miles in length, and enter this day into the jaws of the Leviathan'"-Johanan bar Nappaha
feel free to suggest any mythological creatures or cryptids you'd like to see illustrated next ^_^

This style takes me back to some of the fantasy books I read years ago. Great line work with the water.

Thank you for looking at my work, I've only been working professionally for about a year doing commission's. This year I want to expand so I'm currently doing a lot of book work to get it moving. Won't be much longer at least that's what I plan What about yourself, are you looking to do art for a living?

That's awesome
I'm working on at that right now actually, trying to build up an audience so I can get consistent enough commissions to leave my current job. So do you do art full time?

Quite a bit but I don't really feel like I know enough to get by. Got any good advice on the matter?

One thing I realised when I first started looking at freelancing was there's a fair amount of 'business' aspects that you need to understand. To be honest I would look to see where you can go to get business setup advice, go to talks that cover the industry you want to go into. Also create a business plan, this will help to identify your business, what you want to do and where you want to take it. Utilise social media sites that fit your business structure, there's no rush to join every single one especially if you don't spend much time on some sites. For me I am deleting my Facebook art page since I don't really use or keep it up to date. One last is to know you're market e.g. illustration, concept, book covers, etc. This can figure out when writing up your business plan. This is quite a long message, you will find you will be spending equal or more time on the business side along with the creating side. Hope this helps, sorry it's not specific but this is what I have found to help me get things going.

Super cool! Love the flow of the water and those colours together; the style reminds me of sea monsters drawn on maps
