General Henri Palladium would oppose any foe and fight till the bitter end in defense of his dearest France... but what if your foe is also your friend? The way I see it, Klaus and Palladium have known each other for a long time. Like, a long, long time. Since World War 1 was still The Great War long. But WWII and the occupation of France sort of drove a wedge between them. A temporary wedge, obviously, or they wouldn't be on such good terms now, but a wedge nonetheless. A wedge which probably culminated in a brawl in the cobblestone streets of Paris, and the heated exchange of swastika/fleur-de-lis laser beams.
