I like to think everyone within a 5 mile radius knows when Xalvador's spirits are high because he plays Gipsy Kings loud enough to wake the dead. I thought dancing in Terra Furra, at least for the avians, would be made more interesting if their wings mimicked the movements of the dancer's arms. Near misses on a crowded ballroom floor must be par for the course.Xalvador: "Now you try, gatinho."
Crispy: "Who, me? Oh, I couldn't, cats don't dance."
Xalvador: "I am part cat, senhorita."
Crispy: "Well, when you put it that way... but won't Klaus get upset?"
Xalvador: "Because of dancing?"
Crispy: "Because of samba. It's not exactly waltzing or the Schuhplattler."
Xalvador: "Do you always do everything that walking war museum tells you to do?"
Crispy: "NĆ£o!"
Xalvador: "Good girl!"

Our friend Plagey makes some excellent points and statements which this one will second. Clicking on the image for full size resulted in an explosion of bright, vibrant colour to accommodate each position of Xalvador's dancing. What's truly amazing is how one can see his wings appearing as animated as the rest of his limbs in samba, how they compliment the given action. Of course, being a colourful avian (mostly), he can have a good excuse to express himself in his physical beauty, much like a peacock showing its tail feather fan. The background is just as glorious, starting with the green to compliment his homeland of Brazil, followed by other appropriate hues to accommodate his natural colours. The finale with cute little Crispy and the exchange of dialogue is a mix of endearing and comedic conversation, especially with the mention of Klaus. Hilarious metaphor that Xalvador applies to the eagle, and his very sensible question of Crispy being capable of making her own choices. Thank you again for entertaining us with this fantastic display of your art skills in a rainbow-esque display of samba dance, with your own cuddly kitty enjoying the show.

Mr. Xalvador is so elegant! Ok you posted drawings of him like... Four or five times. But I think he's already my favourite character of yours.
Gotta love that colourful background, it goes well with his beautiful plumage. It is fun to find the little patterns you put! Also, this last panel with Crispy is just so adorable, eeeeeh! That third panel is beautiful too and... Ok the four ones are very pretty, I'm gonna stop here.
