Das mit dem Malen würde ich so sehen: Man hat zuerst eine weiße Leinwand und Farbe und daraus entsteht eine neue Realität. Beim Fotografieren findest du hingegen vorhandene Realität und du spielst mit ihr. Dass beides im Ergebnis dann auch noch als Abstraktion (von was auch immer) gesehen werden kann ist eine Sache des Betrachters. Für mich als "Macher" ist letztendlich nur der Prozess des Entstehen des Bildes - egal ob Gemälde oder Foto - entscheidend, bis zu dem Punkt, wo ich empfinde, das ist es jetzt. Was danach kommt ist eigentlich nicht mehr meine Geschichte.
Also einfach nur rotes Empfinden ...

Danke für diese Antwort, über die ich erstmal in Ruhe nachdenken muß. Ich bin begeistert von der obigen Zusammenstellung und das, obwohl rot eigentlich nicht meine Farbe ist aber hier stimmt für mich alles.

I enjoy it and would love to see more abstractions; your photographic eye obviously excels at them, so it would be interesting to see where you go with in this direction with a brush.
Makes me want to paint, so that can't be a bad thing.

Hi Phil,
it's just the other way round. I did first this kind of abstract paintings and later on I found my way to abstract photographs.
But it's too much honour to compare it with the art of a shaolin monk, although this picture was painted in one session.
Whish you the best for 2016 and take a brush in your hand. As you say, it isn't a bad thing to do a little bit paint on a white canvas. You simply have to do it and see what's happening ...
