C is for Cheetah. Cheetahs live on the African Savannah. They're one of the fastest mammals on the planet. Cheetahs have thin bodies and long legs, they're the lightest and leanest of all the big cats. And being light and lean helps a cheetah run fast. Sometimes cheetahs are solitary (Meaning they live along), and sometimes they live in coalition. When cheetah cubs are born, they start out blind, helpless, and very reliant on their mothers. Cheetahs don't make roars or growls or yowls, they chirp to call each other. Cheetah moms also chirp to call their cubs, chirping is a mother cheetahs way of saying "Come here, and make it snappy!"
