Thought I should upload the undecorated version of Solar Girl too, my character from Supergirls In The Spotlight and other things. See, just a plain old domino mask, and no silly 3D glasses at all. She can be serious too.

As stated in the other post, Solar Girl isn't part of Inglenook, she actually lives in another of the Other Realms called Spotlight City, where she is the next in line for the Sunbearer legacy after the previous hero, the Solarian, is thought to be dead after a battle with the mad scientist Dr Synergy.

As Solar Girl, she can transform into and out of her costume in a fiery blaze, and use solar fusion to transmute matter, manipulate gravity, heal herself and others, restore her clothing, and create fireballs from nothing. Depending on the story and the version of the timeline and its events, she's either a cheerleader or used to be a cheerleader, and might currently just be a twentysomething in search of a higher purpose, which she obviously finds after becoming Solar Girl.

The only catch is, the outfit that gives her her powers needs to be solar-charged and runs out of energy eventually. But it happens.

She also has a best friend and sidekick in most iterations called Moonshine, but we shan't get into her here. Moonshine's story is entirely too complex for one simple post, but needless to say, she's not from Spotlight City and isn't always entirely herself.
