Description
Enamel - opague glass - 25 mm (2").I was going to swirl the enamel in the kiln with a heated tool. Unfortunately, the enamel was too thick & the trivet too light. I left it as an abstract!

I like this a lot! I have found some chunks of glass in the backyards of people who live on the sites of defunct glass factories that look a lot like this; They seem so natural, as if nature influenced the creator of each to make it just so. It always seems very zen, I suppose, to see when someone adopts the accidental as art and takes the (deserved) credit for its discovery. It shows a skill and discipline to not mess with things that are inherently beautiful and be a part of the organism that is art. Very nice.

Thanks alot. When I finish a piece, whether it is what I intended or not, I try to judge it on it's own merits. As you say: it is like 'found art'. I'd like to explore that former glass factory!
