Description
classic cloisonne - opague white glass - 55 mm (2.25"). By 'classic', I mean the glass & copper are ground & fired to a flat surface & the glass is contained by an outside bezel. Labor intensive.see Bullrushes 2: [link]

Hey! I love all your enamel work. This one's probably my favourite, althought 2, 3 and 4 are equally good. I just favour this one because it's got such clean lines but I also like the colours and the protrusion of the metal outline on the other ones. Oh...I can't decide. I like them all.

Thank you so much. I like your glass work as well; I love all glass work. I'd like to try some torch work too. "The life so short, the craft so long to learn."
A 'classic cloisonne' has an outside bezel & is ground flat. But I like a concave firing because it catches the light (& there're fewer firings thus less chance of self-destruction.) Everything is an experiment with technique or color. Recently, I've done some plaques based on other artist's drawings, but they are not really my art so I haven't uploaded them.
