opague blue glass over golden clear glass on copper - 5 cm (2"). I thought that stenciling would be fast & easy but to achieve the right effect, the stencil had to be reapplied 2 or 3 times. They required eight firings or more.See

Thank you so much for your kind words. Actually, I find the work basically relaxing like a meditation. It's when the piece is actually in the kiln & the glass is melting that I get so excited my hands shake - three minutes of terror each time! I love it.
